Agland Membership

You receive great benefits from being a member of Agland.

Agland, Inc. is a member-owned cooperative. As a member you are able to receive patronage dividends based upon your yearly purchases, voting rights for board of directors and by-law changes and the opportunity to become a member of College Credit Union.

There are two types of membership, Common and Preferred. Common stockholders are agricultural producers and Preferred stockholders are individuals who do not make their living off the farm/ranch. The main difference in these statuses is that the common stockholder has the opportunity to vote whereas the preferred does not.

Cost to become a member is $25.00. The $25.00 is paid up front, which allows you to earn patronage immediately. For the past several years any patronage earned has been paid back to members 35% in cash and the rest put back into member's equity. A new member equity revolving fund is being implemented to allow members to receive their equity earlier.
